Recovery Coordinator Locations

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. (September 7, 2018) – In the aftermath of the Ranch and River Fires, the largest wildfire event in California’s history, the County of Lake recognizes that each individual’s recovery journey is unique.  County residents are at various stages.  As the process develops, needs can become numerous, detailed and difficult to navigate.

Since Tuesday, September 5, Lake County Recovery Coordinator Nathan Spangler has been meeting County residents where they are, holding office hours throughout the County.

“It has been a privilege to sit with individual property owners, in their time of great need, and provide some clarity and direction,” shares Spangler.  “I want to help connect Ranch and River Fire Survivors with the resources they need to heal, to fully recover from this terrible event.”

Spangler will be available 10am-1pm, Monday, September 10, through Friday, September 21, at the following locations:

  • Mondays, 9/10 and 9/17, FEMA DRC at the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake Community Center, 9460 Main Street, Upper Lake
  • Wednesdays, 9/12 and 9/19, Scotts Valley Women’s Club, 2298 Hendricks Rd, Lakeport, 95453
  • Thursdays, 9/13 and 9/20, Spring Valley Community Center, 1300 Wolf Creek Rd, Clearlake Oaks, 95423
  • Fridays, 9/14 and 9/21, Nylander Park Visitor Center, 12588 Acorn St., Clearlake Oaks, 95423

“Whatever your recovery-related needs are right now, you are not alone,” assures Spangler.     “I hope to see many of you, and will happily do all I can to help make your next steps a little clearer.”
